The symbol ® should always be placed in immediate proximity to the registered trademark.

In case of using the registered trademark together with additional word or graphical elements such as a slogan, a byline or a graphical design which are not elements of the registered trademark, the symbol ® has to be used in a manner that leaves no doubt about what exactly is registered as a trademark.
