In most countries there is no obligation mention the fact that a design is registered. This is true in particular for Switzerland, Germany, France, the European Union and other countries.
An exception must be made for the USA, where the absence of any reference to design protection can prevent the obtaining of full compensation for damages. This exception applies also to Great Britain.
