After graduating from high school in Basel, Andreas began his legal studies at the University of Neuchâtel where he became fluent in French. During that time, Andreas discovered his interest in intellectual property and wrote his master thesis on trade mark law.
During his studies, Andreas first worked for a logistics company specialising in art transportation. Later he was part of a team that facilitated art exhibitions in museums and galleries. He further honed his skills in the world of art as personal secretary of a contemporary artist.
Upon obtaining his Master of Law degree, Andreas joined BOVARD AG, where he passionately represents the interests of his clients in the field of trade mark law to this day.
In addition to his work as a trade mark and design attorney, Andreas is interested in all styles of music as well as photography and video art. He has witnessed the emergence of music video portals such as MTV and keenly followed their development into the streaming platforms we have today. Andreas' long standing interest in music and artistic expression in general goes hand in hand with his passion for intellectual property. He advises and represents clients in a wide variety of areas of trade mark and design law.
